Developed in dialogue with the architect, every table is shaped in response to the space it belongs to. From proportion to finish, each decision is made with attention to how the object will settle within the architectural composition. Crafted entirely by hand in our atelier in Belgium, the process is gradual, precise and guided by material.

In dialogue with the architect
Each piece starts from the architect’s vision. Luciel listens, interprets and contributes to develop a table that aligns with the spatial concept. Proportion, material and light guide every decision.
Material and colour
Materials are selected in response to the project and the atmosphere of the space. Colour follows the same approach, developed through depth, reflection and its relationship to light.
Layer by Layer in the atelier
Each piece is crafted entirely by hand in our atelier in Belgium. Layers are applied gradually and refined over time, allowing the finish to develop with precision and consistency. The pace of the process is slow and intentional. It gives each object its own character.
Refinement and finish
Each piece is carefully refined and polished by hand. Layered applications create depth within the finish and reinforce the presence of the object within the space.
Placed, not installed
Once completed, the table is brought into the space it was designed for. It becomes part of the architectural composition and settles naturally within the room.
PRESERVE THE FINISH, RESPECT THE MATERIAL
Each Luciel table is finished using carefully selected materials and techniques chosen in response to the project. As every finish behaves differently over time, appropriate care plays an important role in preserving the quality and appearance of the object.
For this reason, every table is delivered with dedicated care guidelines tailored to its specific finish and materiality.
